I have a severely anxious rescue who takes a long time to trust and is prone to stop eating and shut down when I leave or around strangers. Roni patiently and carefully met him where he was and earned his trust and reliance within a short week of drop-ins and walks. I can go away with confidence that he will be in safe hands. Highly recommend Roni for dog-walking and sitting services.

It’s incredibly reassuring knowing that Roni is looking after my dog when i travel, and that she is in safe hands.

Mona is very excited when she realizes where we are going, and loves spending time with her. 

i describe it as going to a dog spa, she relaxes, sleeps, is loved and cared for- as is evident in all the photos i receive throughout her stay. Roni is very attentive to Mona’s medical needs, and looks after her as if she were her own.

Thank you, Roni, for taking such wonderful care of Django while we were away. Since we first had Django, we only left him a very few times and only once overnight. We are very protective of our Django!!!!! So it is a joy to know Django can visit with you and have so much fun and be safe while we are away!!!! The moment Django met you, we could tell he felt “at home” with you. Also, Django can be very willful, and we were reassured that you immediately related to Django so that he knew to be a “good listener”. Thank you for keeping us “in the loop” constantly and checking with us when you had any questions or concerns as well. Thank you, Roni, for also taking many wonderful photos and videos of Django’s visit with you. We are so grateful to know you loved and cared for Django, and we feel a sense of confidence too knowing we actually can go away for a little vacation while Django has a vacation with Aunt Roni. I Love that kitty is so relaxed. It’s so great that folk have such a loving and caring person to look after their special ones!  

We wholeheartedly recommend Roni Shapiro for dog sitting and care.   She is super kind and loving with the dogs and extremely knowledgeable about dog behavior and care.   We have boarded our cockapoo with her at least six times now for periods of up to a week at a time.   She sends us regular updates and pics via text so that we are at ease knowing that all is well.   She is truly terrific and a wonderful resource for a dog owner.  Kathy K. and  Elliot H.🐶

Leaving Gertie with Roni is like sending her to her favorite auntie’s. She is pampered and loved, walked and played with. I appreciate getting texts with pics of my happy dog. Whenever I go away Gertie gets a lovely vacation, too!

Roni is a compassionate, patient, trustworthy and reliable dog sitter.  She has a very calm, peaceful nature and her love of all animals is very evident.  We have a new (to us) dog that we are working with to overcome separation anxiety.  Roni was willing to take us on and she made a number of accommodations to assist with helping him with his anxiety.  I visited Roni with  our dog several times before dropping him off the first time for a couple hours in order for him to get acclimated to Roni’s home.  Our dog gets along well with calm dogs and Roni even arranged with a friend who has two sweet older dogs, for a meet and greet with us, so our dog could have a play date the first time we dropped him off for a couple hours.  I receive texts and pictures from Roni while she’s watching our dog and he’s being cuddled and looked after very well.   

Our dog is a member of our family, as such, we wanted to be sure he and his dog sitter would be a good match.  Roni was highly recommended to me and we’re very happy with the care and attention she gives to our dog while she’s caring for him
